A welcome message from the Headteacher
Hello everyone, welcome to our website.
My name is Sarah-Jane Carroll and I am privileged to be the Headteacher at St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School. It gives me great pleasure and pride being Headteacher at this welcoming and caring school, where every child is encouraged to ‘develop their gifts and talents’ and ‘to be the best they can be’.
Our school Mission Statement aims to celebrate our partnerships with the families we serve and the community we live in and also provide an education that enables each child to reach their full potential. I believe we do this through our core values of love, respect and justice.
We are a learning community that is guided by our faith, love of God and also the Gospel Values. Our warm welcoming ethos is always commented on by all who visit us.
As staff we aim to fully develop every child who enters our care, so that they not only achieve academically, but they also develop life experiences and success in other areas of school life whether this be through sport, musically or artistically.
We want every child to leave St Laurence’s with memories that they will remember for a long time.
We are proud of all our children and they in turn are proud to be a part of our school family and community.
Our website is just a small glimpse of what life is like in our wonderful school. We hope you will be able to see this from some of the information given. Please feel free to come into school at any time for a warm welcome. Any information on our website is also available from the school office, free of charge. Please see our contact details below.
Best wishes
Miss Carroll
